AESTHETICS
Dental
Fixed dental prostheses allow you to restore lost aesthetics. Crowns or veneers are built on the basis of digital impressions obtained by directly scanning the patient's teeth, thus obtaining an extremely precise result. The Dental Crown, also called capsule, is a prosthesis on one or more teeth, with a natural root or with an implant (artificial root), to replace the most superficial and visible part of the tooth.

dental crowns can be
of different materials:
-
METAL-CERAMIC.
They have a ceramic coating and the internal structure, cap, in metal. These crowns are very resistant thanks to the metal of the internal structure, but also very aesthetic due to the ceramic that covers the external and visible part. They are indicated for both anterior and posterior teeth. -
ZIRCONIUM.
They are white chrome-plated, crowns suitable for covering teeth that have become gray and give dental prostheses a brighter and more natural appearance. Zirconium crowns are equivalent to metal-ceramic crowns as zirconium is also a metal, albeit a white one. Precisely due to the chromatic characteristics of zirconium, these crowns are much more aesthetic than metal-ceramics as they do not present the risk of visible metal edges. -
LITHIUM DISILICATE.
They are metal-free, i.e. completely without metal, and made up of all-ceramic only: for this reason they are particularly suitable for the anterior sectors. Lithium disilicate crowns are highly aesthetic because they are characterized by a translucency that makes them similar to natural teeth. These crowns, thanks to the chromatic behavior of the material, are in fact crossed by light, giving the tooth a natural-looking transparency. -
METAL-COMPOSITE.
Metal-composite crowns consist of an internal metal part and an external part in white composite resin similar in color to natural teeth.
